CONCLUSIONS:
The Roadrunner Xpress is an awsome racing car(note: it is not meant
for backyard bashing), it's ultra light everything sits low(batteries wen
in saddle config. and motor could sit through the chassi), it adjustible(camber
caster). This car come souped up for racing, it comes with a one way pulley
for better off throttle steering, all graphite stuff, universals, and it
looks cool outta the box. It handles awsome, just a tinny bit of push on
throttle and a bunch of sterring off. The cons of this car is that it has
some breakable parts: the knuckles are easily broken when hit and ive seen
arms break probably because of the fact that it is japan plastic(harder=less
flex but more brittle) The caster adjustment tie rods are also easily bent.the
universals, once bent could be bent back but in my case they all just snaped. The
solution to these prbolems i have sloved:Yokomo front end(can survive alot
of hits), big bumper, nerf wings, titanium tierods, yokomo universals(more
ductile).I've won alot of races with this car, including 1st place in the
1998 GVR/CRC(Greater Vancouver Radio Controlled Racing Cars?orClub?)Touring
car series and and 2nd place in a earlier 1998 GVR/CRC touring car point
series. there are a few more races ive won but i dont remember where and
when.
I will have pics as soon as im not lazy to get them processed and scanned
