This is my gas touring car.

STOCK CONFIGURATION WHEN NEW:
My Pirate 10 SE is a good gas car but it is a little heavy
It is the 190mm wide vesrion of the pirate 10 DTM so it legal to use in the gas touring class
Its comes with aluminum: upper and lower deck, shock towers, shocks
its also comes with tuned ehxaust and header
Dog bones transmit the powerto the frint and rear gear diffs and then into the universals......
Stock 2speed
front and rear sway bars
front and rear plastic bumpers
bell crank steering
suspension setup is very similar to the old HPI RS4's
foam air filter
nice low-long gas tank and nice reciver packholder and a place to put a reciver.
white seven spoke, each spoke is slipt into two littler spokes so i get a total of 14 spokes with not-too-great-rubber-but-it-looks-cool tires.
Audi A4 body with a huge sticker sheet
this car is a great deal when it comes with all this at a price of $360.00Canadian(i also got a used Yokomo RX12 engine with four bell clutch thingy and lightweight aluminum flywheel all for that price)
MODIFCATIONS:
heavier shock oil 80wt.
20%nitro fuel
home made fiberglass bumper with foam impact thingy(like the Yokomo "M" bumper)
cheap and slow Futaba S-148 servos for steering and throttle
the same Kopropo Mars transmitter and reciver
CONCLUSIONS:
The Pirate 10 SE is an excllent deal for what you pay for, you get soo much stuff that would cost alot if bought aftermarket. I really like how it came with a 2speed tranny, sway bars, aluminum shocks, universals, tuned exhaust and header and the big sticker sheet. You wouldn't need much to get racing because it comes all souped up and all it needs is a radio ,tranmitter pack, fuel, engine, paint, shock oil and your ready to go. I know there is a better version of this car. i havent seen to yet but it looks promiseing. I forgot what it's called but it dosent matter cuz i seen it advertised in R/C car aciton quite a bit. This cars down sied are it has brittle front knuckles, but to solve this prob alls you have to do is make a bigger bumper. remember bigger bumpers help you finish a races, not lose em they might way your car down a bit but its worth the weight. O ya the car is also i litte heavy, probably because of the thick chassis and heavy duty arms.
Here's a link to OFNA's site it wont have my pirate 10 se listed because it was only relased for a little while
until they decided to make their new Z10 gas and electric
If ya want the 411 on my Roadrunner Xpress.
